- Pitivi on i386.
- The free space output on the GUI and TEXT BASE installer.
- The third install option on the TEXT BASE installer.
- Brasero is fix for root on amd64. But still don’t add data on normal user.
To install GhostBSD you have two option. The new option is by clicking on the GhostBSD Installer icon or Typing gbi on terminal for GUI installation. The typing ginstall in a terminal for the new text base installer.
Ginstall is a great tool for those can get to GUI or their keyboard and mouse don’t work on the GUI.

You will see GhostBSD lite(CD) and GhostBSD(DVD), both have the
installer. The difference is GhostBSD lite is a smaller version to fit
on a CD. A script will be released soon. So the rest of the apps and
configuration can be added later.
Something new we have USB image for those who prefer us USB memory stick.
To Install on USB from BSD:
dd if=/path/to/GhostBSD-2.5-RC1-i386.img of=/dev/da0 bs=1m conv=sync
dd if=/path/to/GhostBSD-2.5-RC1-amd64.img of=/dev/da0 bs=1m conv=sync
To Install on USB from Linux.
sudo dd if=GhostBSD-2.5-RC1-i386.img of=/dev/sdf bs=1m conv=sync
sudo dd if=GhostBSD-2.5-RC1-amd64.img of=/dev/sdf bs=1m conv=sync
Next release is RC2 it will be release in 1 or 2 week if all go well.
